Pittwater to Southport / 360 Nm / 4 Days / Coastal Cat 2 Passage

The coastal Category 2 passage from Pittwater in New South Wales to Southport on Queensland’s Gold Coast is a great coastal passage for building sea miles, confidence and experience. You’ll help sail the yacht to the Gold Coast in preparation for the next leg north to Hamilton Island.

We’ll depart Pittwater and head NNE up the Australian East Coast to round Cape Byron, the easternmost point of Australia, before altering course for Southport, Queensland. This 3-day sail north is a challenging 360nm course with ships, reefs and islands to navigate past.
