New Regatta Format Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez
Les Voiles Super Boats
A new regatta format for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez spread over two weeks will enable all race starts and finishes to happen in the Gulf. This has not been the case for some time due to a large number of entries. This means the 2020 edition is extended by another week of racing limited to the big and very big boats. With Les Voiles Super Boats being a new regatta format, the big boats have their own exclusive week of racing. First weeks racing starts on the 29th of September. Les Voiles Super Boats race start is Tuesday 6 October 2020.
Combination of classic and ultra-modern boats
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez is the highlight of the Mediterranean season. Featuring a series of superb races every day of what is always a packed week for all the series, Modern, Wally and Classic boats. In total, more than 300 boats will compete.
The combination of classic yachts with ultra-modern boats is the main feature of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. It is a true “trademark” with the unique backdrop of the bay of Saint Tropez.

If necessary there is the possibility of respecting social distancing.
In line with the global health situation, the organisers of the Voiles de Saint-Tropez remain on alert. The goal is to maintain what has for decades made the success of these regattas. A race unique to the world for modern and classic boats. The programme on land, for the public, as for the sailors themselves will be optimally adapted.
Due to the uncertainties linked to the world situation, the modalities of the event are to be reviewed monthly:-end of June -end of July -end of August. This is to better define conditions for the reception of competitors and public and the personnel and volunteers involved in the organisation. Read more
