Only 200 miles to go until Cabo Verde for Volvo 65 Sisi

A demanding first leg will probably end with an excellent ranking

The first leg of the sailing race from Alicante, Spain, to Cabo Verde is coming to an end, and the crew has had an eventful journey. After only 24 hours at sea, they found themselves in the Strait of Gibraltar in extremely difficult conditions. The crew had to contend with winds of over 50 knots and waves of 5 meters. These extreme conditions tested the team’s skills and determination, but they rose to the challenge and made it through the rough waters with great success.

The Ocean Race Tracker Volvo 65 SisiAfter the strenuous start, the team sailed 2000 nautical miles and faced many challenges along the way, but they proved to be a solid and resilient team. They managed to maintain a steady pace, and their hard work and determination paid off, as they are currently in a promising fourth place.
